Electric Vehicle Chargers

The government has declared that by 2035, all new vehicles sold must be electric and emission-free. With the UK moving towards net-zero, electric vehicles are already well on the rise.

EV chargers can be installed independently, drawing from the grid to charge your car at home. Alternatively, if you already have a solar system, or are having one installed with us, EV chargers can be incorporated as a system add-on.

This means you can charge your electric vehicle from the solar energy generated by your home system.

EV Charger Installation Process

  1. Contact us to discuss your electric vehicle (EV) requirements, and we’ll help you select the ideal charger—unless you’ve already made your choice.

  2. Next, we’ll send you a mobile survey where you can upload photos of your property and electrical system. If needed, we can also schedule a video consultation or an in-person visit.

  3. After reviewing the survey and your preferred charger, we’ll provide you with a quote outlining the work involved.

  4. Once you approve the quote, we’ll tentatively book your installation date and may request a deposit at this stage.

  5. We’ll handle the application process with your Distribution Network Provider, and after receiving their approval, we’ll confirm your installation date.

  6. On installation day, we’ll ensure everything is properly set up and operational. We’ll then send you the invoice and provide an Electrical Installation Certificate. We’ll also check in with you afterward to ensure everything is working smoothly.
